Kinnick 'Pocketwatch'
Art By Hector Rodriguez
Major Arcana: The Moon
Minor Arcana: Four of Swords
Song: Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap by AC/DC
"I suppose a little extra cash never hurt."
Described in his hometown as a short man with a long shadow. Others are known to think of him as the 'ideal mercenary' who will do anything that won't get him killed for money. Kinnick grew up dodging draft recruiters and slavers in the slums of Toluni. Often, he'd trade others to buy his survival or for their rewards. This taught him to see others as a means to an end. Eventually, he managed to gather a few desperate souls and got himself a ship to escape to the wider world. He found work plentiful for someone of his disposition but his life was flipped upside down when he found himself at the mercy of a Dragon and didn't end up the way he'd done so many others.
Outside of his duties in the company, Kinnick has sought to learn the skill to keep up his namesake pocket watch. As such, his private room is a mess of clockwork parts as he studies to keep it going. Periodically he will return to his hometown and says it's to take care of old business. No one is exactly sure where he goes or what he does, Kinnick is a stone faced card player and it won't be until he wants you to know that you will. And anyone probing ahead of time, will likely find themselves in the palm of this remorseless man.
Though Kinnick is officially an accountant for the company, he might be better considered a collection agent. Collecting the company's dues from inside and out, he'll frequently be out on various jobs. The mobility such tasks affords him suits the lonely man just right. It is worth noting that his close ties to Mahale and her fleet has resulted in surprise incomes that are labelled simply 'outside business ventures'. Nothing more is said about such things.
